OFF! – Long Summer Days

For this campaign with OFF!, we set out to bottle the essence of long summer days—the kind where time stretches, moments linger, and the world feels a little lighter.

One of the biggest challenges was capturing a macro shot of a mosquito: still long enough for us to focus on, then lifting off at just the right moment as someone walked by. To achieve it, we travelled to Laguna del Sauce in Uruguay, where, come sunset, swarms of mosquitos filled the air. Using techniques we first honed in the field in Kenya while filming malaria research, we were able to bring this delicate moment to life.

The result is a film that feels as effortless as summer itself—though it demanded patience, precision, and a little creative problem-solving behind the scenes.
