We were thrilled when T+W asked us to develop and direct this piece for the Proteas.  Over the last few years a strong and unique team culture has been nurtured within the Protea setup. Cricket South Africa wanted a piece that would communicate the story and spirit of that culture to the South African public.

The shoot took place between Durban and Cape Town with a good portion of the commercial being built from behind the scenes footage from the teams’ personal archives, which suited our documentary making background perfectly.  The Proteas themselves were a wonderful mixture of professional and friendly, making this, along with our awesome crew, one of our most rewarding shoots.
