Lukhanyo Am and Makazole Mapimpi have walked parallel journeys.

From growing up in the Eastern Cape to meeting and playing together at the Border Bulldogs, then onto the Southern Kings, the Sharks and the Springboks, their story is a unique one.

It is a story of trust, determination and friendship.

A story that culminated in the first Springbok try in a Rugby World Cup Final.

In order to announce Lukhanyo Am and Makazole Mapimpi as the latest edition to the Discovery Ambassadors, Scholars was commissioned by MatchStick to tell the story of these two extraordinary men whose destinies were intertwined in the most remarkable way.
